It was in media a few days back that Nayanthara backed from Payya directed by Lingusaamy. It was said that she was frustrated b he delay in the commencement of the film's shooting. She was supposed to star with Kaarthy . One of the reasons for the film's delay was said to be that Kaarthy was held up in 'Aayirathil oruvan' film.
However it was widely gossiped that Nayan had asked for a whooping 1 crore as her salary and will not accept the 75 lakhs they offered. Nayanthara is currently starring with the lead heroes0 including Ajith in Aegan and with Vijay in Villu. Linguswamy is quoted to have said that Nayanthara is the present day Sreedevi of film industry.
Now that Nayanthara has stepped out, Linguswamy has booked Trisha for the film. Trisha has bagged the offer for 80 lakhs. The shooting is soon to begin. So fans can expect Kaarthy- Trisha pair to rock the film industry now.
