Enthiran plot leaked from shooting spot?

Director Shankar alwaays maintain strict confidentiality when it comes to the shooting of his films.He never even allows his crew members to use cell phone in fear of his scenes getting leaked.It only helps in building up of the excitement of his fans.
He is now shooting with the lead actors, Aishwarya and Rajanikanth in and around chennai. He is currently shooting in Vellore in a college campus. According to a film website, Rajanikanth who plays the role of a scientist finds a novel formula. The onlookers from the shooting spot said that they were shooting a scene where Rajani and Aish rejoice over the new discovery by shouting, 'Success!!, success!!'.
Earlier there was tension when a few scenes from Enthiran leaked in to the net as did scenes from Vijay's Villu.
The film is eagerly awaited by his fans.

Anushka in Vettaikkaran.

Vijay's forthcoming movie, Vettaikaran had launched a heroine hunt for quite sometime. This film is Vijay's 49th film and it is directed by Babu sivan and produced by AVM Balasubramanian. Now it is confirmed that a Telugu actress Anushka has been booked for the film.
Anushka is a leading actress in Telugu film industry. She has already starred in the film,'Rendu' opposite Madhavan. She is also booked against Karthi in the film 'Siruthai'. She is presently acting in a handful of films in Telugu.
The shooting for Vettaikkaran is supposed to start in February. Vijay's 'Villu' is expected to hit the screen for Pongal.
Anushka (real name: Maha Lakshmi)did her schooling and college in Bangalore. She was born in Mangalore, and her mother tongue is Tulu. After completing graduation in Computer Applications(BCA),instead of getting in to software industry and instead wanted to get into the fitness world. Then she became a yoga instructor. Puri Jagannadh happened to see Anushka through another director and she got selected for her debut telugu film 'Super.
She started with a salary of 20 Lakhs for the movie super. These days she is billing about Rs 40 Lakhs per movie.

Nayanthara temple!

Fans of Tamilnadu have strange ways of expressing their love for their favourite stars. This including naming of kids, conducting abishekams in cut-outs and building temples.After Kushboo and Namitha, now its the turn of Nayanthara. Nayanthara's temole is under construction in Aravakurichi , near Karoor. The fans in that town say that they have decided to build a temple as a symbol of their loyalty and devotion to Nayanthara.
The actress who is currently in deep trouble as she got banned by Tamilnadu film producer's council because of financial confrontation with Linguswamy, concerning film 'Payya', is only embarrassed by this action of her fans.

Michael Jackson critical.

Michael Jackson, the 50 year old popular pop singer is critical and may be close to death. Jackson was earlier diagnosed with emphysema due to alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency, a rare genetic disorder. He is now hospitalised in an undisclosed place. He is supposed to be suffering from gastrointestinal bleeding. He has already been suffering from poor vision. Reports say that his condition may be that bad that he needs a transplant. The singer has already said to be suffering from vitiligo, anorexia, stress and panic disorder. He suffered child abuse in his childhood. He was alleged of paedophilia but the accusations were unproven. His brother Jermaine Jackson told reporters, 'He is not doing well right now, this is not a good time'.
His biographer Ian halperin,also told media that his condition is critical.
However, Reuters claimed that an official Jackson spokesman declared that Jackson is in fine health and is working on final negotiations with a musical company.

Villu intro scene leaked in the net.

Villu, Vijay's forthcoming films created raves in the net when it few scenes from the film was leaked in the net.
Few websites posted a clip , claiming it to be Villu's intro scene. The scene shows Vijay in a dhobi workplace where his stunts cause women to exclaim,'Is this superman or spiderman?'. Then the scene shifts to an ice factory where Vijay fights with a few men. the scenes appear crudely edited and undubbed. Towards the end of the clip, Vijay and Nayanthara are seen together.
Ayngaran international is said to be upset over the issue. The shooting was being kept very confidential from the public. They have demanded legal action against whoever responsible for the leak of scenes.
Meanwhile people searching for the scenes in the youtube only get disappointed because many users have uploaded scenes from Vijay's old movies, claiming it to be Villu's intro scene.

BEHINDWOODS: Has given 2 stars."sparkles in bits and pieces". Gives laurels to the director who crafted a film speaking of love of a father for his daughter, in a country teaming with female infanticide. The script should have been more taut. Towards the end the film becomes an ordeal and a test of patience. Music is very ordinary. Camera is noteworthy.

HINDU CINEMA: Movie is message oriented, Parakash Raj's acting is impeccable. Music is very average, Movie is director's credit. Youngsters may find the film boring.

KOLLYWOOD TODAY: Prakashraj's acting is natural. Aishwarya has lived her character.Dialogues penned by C.P.Narayann and R.Subramanian is extraordinary. None of the songs are noteworthy. The website calls the film a good attempt, though not a flick.

Telugu actress bhargavi found murdered.

Telugu actres, Bhargavi was found killed by stabbing in her apartmentin Banjara hills in Hyderabad yesterday. The murder was said to have committed by her live in partner, Praveen who later committed suicide by poisoning.
The actress hailing from a mediocre family in Nellore district started her career as a stage singer in Praveen's Sai Baba orchestra. Later she became in anchor in TV channels. The couple had said to have fallen in love while working together and said to have got married in 2006. Bhargavi got in to the limelight through her debut film, 'Ashta Chemma'. Her success led her to sign in more films. She was presently working in 10 films including 'Holiday'.
The love story went sore when Bhargavi became successful. She was living with Praveen in the same apartment. Praveen is said to have felt neglected by her sudden stardom which led him to murder his girlfriend. Her parents, however neglect the fact that they got married.
In a suicide note, praveen had written that they had decided to commit suicide because her mother did not approve her relationship with Praveen. He also added that he killed her because she has started neglecting him ever since her success in films.
Women has always been the victim of jealousy, greed and violence. It goes to prove that stardom only makes them more so. The scenario also reminds us of the death of actress Prathyuksha in 2002.

Parvathy Omanakuttan 1st runner up Miss World 2008

Parvathy Omanakuttan is the first runner up od Miss world 2008.
She was born in 1988, is 5' 8.5" tall and has vital statistics of 32-27-36.

She is originally from Changanacherry - Kottayam, Kerala and now lives in Mumbai, Her hobbies include: Listening to music, dancing, glass painting, reading, playing basketball and badminton.

She follows the lineage set by many Malayalis in the history of the pageant like Shweta Vijay (Femina Miss India Earth 2003), Annie Thomas (Femina Miss India Universe 1998), Nafisa Joseph (Femina Miss India Universe 1997), Mini Menon (Femina Miss India Asia Pacific 1996) and Shweta Menon (Femina Miss India 1994 2nd Runner Up).
The question posed to the finalists is “The rate of divorce in India is on a rise. What is the cause? Is western influence the cause or something else?”
Parvathy replied that Divorces are not a result of western influence. At the end of the day, it is we who decide whose worth us. Marriage is not when one completes the other but is when both share their completeness.
Parvathy impressed the audience with her beauty and brains and was one of the five finalists out of the 109 contestants at the Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg in South Africa. But, she was finally beaten by Miss Russia.

After a gap of eight years a Miss India has reached the top three.“I have performed better than others in the personality and question-answer round. This is not just that. All those who watched it yesterday felt like that. I feel the jury’s decision was unfair”, Parvathy(21), who was adjudged the first runner up from among 108 contestants at the Miss World pageant in Johannesburg, told to reporters.

“I had confidence. I could do well. The question-round did not come as a challenge to me considering my background in literature,” said Parvathy.

Nayanthara back in Payya?

It was in the media that Nayanthara had walked out of Payya. Many actresses were considered including Trisha and Tamanna. It was rumored that the reason that she walked out is that she did not want to compromise on money. It was said that the team expected her to accept less money because her recent films like 'Satyam' did not do well. But she declined to do so. Stardom for a female lasts for a very short time and it is no surprise that Nayanthara wanted to make the most of it.
But now she has decided to accept the compromise and work in Payya. It is to be noted that the director had likened her to Sreedevi of yesteryear's during a press meet. The fans are curious to know if she will star in the film. We have to wait and see.

Happy birthday Rajinikanth!!

Rajinikanth celebrated his 59th birthday yesterday. The superstar who is always very modest has requested his fans not to celebrate his birthday as to mourn the killings of Tamils in Srilanka and the Mumbai massacre.He was in Hyderabad shooting for the animation film- Sultan the warrior for his daughter Soundarya.
The actor was born in 1949 at Nocchikuppam, near Krishnagiri. Later his family moved to Bangalore. They shifted back to Chennai and soon young Rajini entered Kollywood, attained stardom and rest is history. Rajini's debutant film was 'Apporva Raagam'. He has starred in 154 films in various languages and most were super hits.His last film was 'Kuselan' which although did not do well in domestic, made a record overseas.
Rajini also played an important role in Tamilnadu politics. His debut in politics is eagerly expected by the people of Tamilnadu for over years. But the actor has taken a spiritual outlook in the recent years. He has always been a follower of Lord Ragavendra from his early years.

Simbu ready with Silambattam for Christmas!

Silambattam Movie is now ready for release for Christmas.

Mumbai model Sanaa Khan is starring with with Simbu in his forthcoming venture film Silambattam. In this movie Simbu is playing a very different role of that of a temple priest.

Silambattam is produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers. Directed by cinematographer-turned-director Saravanan, and has Yuvan Shankar Raja composing the music for the movie.

The movie has two songs- one a remix of 'Vachukkava unna mattum' and another one from an old song,'Nalam thaana'. Illayaraja has rendered his voice for a song. The movie also has a hep song 'Where is the party?'

The movie is eagerly awaited by his fans.

Vishal's next venture 'Thoranai' is going smoothly. The shooting is being held at Kaaraikudi and Vishal says that 'he enjoys chettinad dishes'. The film is produced by his brother Vikam Krishna and his wife Shreya Reddy. He stars with Shriya Saran and the cast include prominent figures like Livingston, Prakashraj, Pandiarajan, Pyramid Natarajan, Paravai Muniamma and others. Mani sharma is rendering music.
