Amitabh Bachan sleeps with a gun under his pillow!

Amitabh Bachan told media that he was deeply disturbed by the Mumbai terror attack. He added that he did something he has never done before, pulled out his licensed .32 revolver ans slept with the revolver under his pillow. He also said that he hoped that nobody faces such a situation. The reel life hero proves that he can put on a real life fight, if necessary.

Vivek pairs with paravai!!

Vivek has paired with Paravai Muniamma in the movie 'Magane en marumagane', starring Kannada actor Mithun Tejaswi and directed by T. Gajendra, the movie being produced by Raj movies. Tamil movies starring other state actors have normally found it difficult to shine at boxoffice, but Vivek's rocking comedy track with paravai muniamma is said to be a major strength for this movie. Vivek who had a set back because of Vadivelu's success, is very confident about his performance in this movie. The movie is expected in the begining of next year.

Yuvan Shankar Raja turns in to an actor!
Yuvan has been declining acting offers for very long. This 29 year old music director had a row of hits including 7G Rainbow colony, Manmadhan, Kanda naal mudhal. His style was a blend of folk and pop which literally rocked Kollywood. He has also released 5 albums so far.
On the personal front, Yuvan and his wife Sujaya got divorced last August which took Tamil world by surprise.Yuvan has been philosophical in interviews after his divorce.
He launched his production company 'pink' after his proposed 'white elephant' did not go through. Despite many directors trying to lure him in to acting, Yuvan remained elusive. Finally it is Venkat Prabhu who has succeeded in turning the young man from a director in to an actor. Venkat Prabhu has given a row of 2 hit films, Chennai28 and Saroja.
Tamil fans are eagerly awaiting their new venture. Will Yuvan be successful in acting as well? Only time can answer this question.

Nameeta splits up with her boyfriend?

Nameeta the glamour queen of bollywood appears to be going through a rough patch in the relationship with her long term boyfriend and mentor, Bharath Kapoor. Bharat Kapoor played a pivotal role in Nameeta's career and was her bodyguard, manager and friend. Though the couple never conceded on an serious relationship between them, they lived in the same house and often ventured together.

The reason for the split is said to be Bharath's alleged friendship with a new actress Jenny from Mumbai. Bharath is said to have taken a special interest in Jenny's career by introducing her to kollywood producers, much to the disapproval of Nameeta. Although the fans of Kollywood are happy about the arrival of Jenny, they are saddened about the plight of Nameeta and hope she comes out strong from this issue.

Malavika becomes a mother!!

Actress Malavika delivered her boy baby, Aarov at Mumbai Leelavathi hospital and both are said to be doing good.
The model turned actress debuted in her Tamil film, 'Unnai thedi'. She did a lot of sizzling roles in a series of movies, including the hit movies like 'Aananda poongatre'and 'Chandramukhi'. Her recent venture was 'Uliyin osai'. The movie 'Thiruttu payale' gave her career a new dimension.
She got married to Mr. Sumesh Menon, a kerala based Mumbai industrialist two years back and she continued to act in films after marriage unlike most heroines.

This former Miss India whose debutant movie was Tamilan (starring Vijay)is in Chennai to launch the latest Carrera collection of watches of Tag Heuer, the leading international watch brand, for which she is the brand ambassador. She is quoted to have said that since her debutant film was Tamil, kollywood always has a special place in her heart. Her Dostana has recently hit the screens.

2. Enthiran shooting in ECR:
If you are travelling by ECR, watch out. Shankar is shooting for Enthiran in ECR, so you may end up bumping in to none other than the Super star himself (Ah well). Unfortunately they are shooting without Aishwarya as she is busy shooting elsewhere in Kerala.

3. Satyam theatre has a new look:
Sathyam theatre is one of the very nostalgic places in Chennai. If you had done our college education in Chennai, you had probably been there every other weekend.It gets a brand new video games section 'BLUR' . It brings virtual reality to the scope of Chennaites And remember , when you are tired and hungry after playing the games , you can dine in the brand new restaraunt that they have opened.
